Solar and microcogeneration
Located on the GTE IUT site, this platform comprises an energy system made up of the following interconnected elements (Fig. below):

- a set of more than 16 m² of different flat plate solar thermal collectors;
- a ROTARTICA absorption air-conditioning machine;
- a STIRLING Whispergen microcogenerator;
- a heat pump;
- storage tanks;
- climatic chambers.
The solar platform is also used to test small solar concentrators. Finally, on the same site, there is a SOLO V161 microcogenerator, as well as a test bench for a prototype ERICSSON engine under development (Fig. below).
